Virginie is French and has been living in Barcelona for more than 8 years. In 2005, she got her first dreadlocks done and was initiated to Western dreads techniques to help her first customers. During numerous trips to Bali and Thailand, she improved her skills and began to learn Asian techniques, which are more natural and fit all hair types. Through her encounters and experiences, Virginie became gradually aware of the needs associated with the movement and decided to create "RastaPulp.
RastaPulp was born from the fusion between the world of dreadlocks and the different cultures influenced by urban music (reggae, dub, dubstep, electro, hip hop...), sports (surf, skate, snowboard, bodyboard…) and especially fashion. The will of this young designer is to facilitate the daily lives of those who wear dreadlocks by creating a line of trendy and practical fashion accessories: hats, scarves, bathing caps, towels, hoods, t-shirts, pants, etc.. Through her products, Virginie is working to break down the social prejudices, which today still persist in both the street and in the working environment.
